Our senior citizens ministry was birthed out of love and remembering those who came before us. So often when individuals get older they tend to be forgotten. But Jesus Christ has not forgotten them and neither will we. This ministry strives to fill in the gap within our local senior citizen community. The various task we engage in are as follows: Senior wellness check ins, various home task, shopping, transportation to appointments, and tender loving care. These are just to name a few while we continue to be led by the Lord.      

This ministry was launched as 1st Lady Ulisha saw a dire need within our community.  So many of our young local students needed additional help with their studies after school. So the Lord blessed us with some qualified tutors and we opened our doors to the community to those students that need a litlle more 1 on 1 help with their studies. Everyone is experiencing huge improvements with their studies. We work closely with the parents and also the students teachers. Recently we have expanded to help senior high school students prepare for college by offering ACT exam tutoring and mentoring. Within this process we also help  them with the college entrance process and or whatever higher degree of education they are seeking after high school.  We look forward to seeing how God will continue to grow this ministry that is open to all.       

So often in church, we tend to try to fit every flock into a program or schedule that every other church follows. For a long period of time we held the normal midweek bible study, and the normal early Sunday School programs. Due to the times that we live in today and our busy work schedules. Pastor Terrance longed for a way to get everyone together at one time for in depth bible studies. This way each individual could grow more in the word. After spending quite some time with God the Father and getting direction from Him. Pastor Terrance stepped out on faith. Instead of having the traditional days and times in which bible study takes place, a new day and era began. Bible Study Cafe was launched. This takes place on the last Sunday of each month. It is an in depth bible study on various topics. This is led by our pastor Rev. Dr. Terrance K. Blakesleay. We transform the sanctuary to where one can sit, take notes, and drink their favorite coffee or tea. Within this setting attendees can personally partake in bible discussions and ask questions that they may have always had. We learn not only from the Holy Spirit but also from one another. Pastor Terrance has personally said," I have seen enormous spiritual growth within the church body since this was launched. It definitely fits our hungry flock. What I cover in one Sunday each month normally would take an entire month. Plus attendance is normally close to 100 percent."
